Football Update

Well, Noah had a football game this weekend in Eagle-  The weather was beautiful!  The boys played great and almost pulled it out with a lat minute touchdown, but it got called back on a holding call- bummer!  Here are some photos.

Noah Calling the Coin Toss

Noah’s Team Wins opening Football Game!

Thought I would post that Noah’s team won their football game last night 12 -6.  I didnt take any photos cause it was too dark but I will take some at his next game on Sept 13th!  He had a couple of good tackles, and did ok as 1 of 3 quarterbacks.  The team has about 35 kids and in order to keep track and make sure that everyone gets to play the kids all wear colored wrist bands – one on each wrist.  The Right wrist is their defensive line color, and the left wrist is their offensive line Color.  So they the coaches can just call out “Red Defence” or “Blue Offense” and the kids all look at their wrists to see if they need to go on the field!  With 35 kids to to hard to keep track and make sure everyone one has played!

Hockey Tryouts this weekend!

A football filled day.

We had a great day today full of football.  Today was the 6th Annual Broncos Fan Fair-  This is an event held for the past couple of years at Mile High Stadium.  Basically they open up the stadium and have players there signing autographs and you can get your picture take with them.  The Cheerleaders are there also for the photo op.  They hold skills drills on the field for the kids and its a lot of fun.  Here are a couple of photos of Noah participating.

Then we visited the Team Store and Noah graciously let me take his picture with this hat!

Then we came home and I mowed while the boys played some catch in the back yard.  Today really got Noah excited for football season- although its a few months away yet!

Tomorrow’s agenda includes 9 holes of golf on the executive par 3 course in Eagle Vail.  Check back for photos!
