Moose! About 5 minutes North of Silverthorne!
Well, Noah had a football game this weekend in Eagle- The weather was beautiful! The boys played great and almost pulled it out with a lat minute touchdown, but it got called back on a holding call- bummer! Here are some photos.
Sorry folks- things have been crazy busy around the Hernandez house. We are juggling Hockey and Football here on a pretty daily basis. Noah made the Squirt B team for hockey, which was the same team he was on last year. We will have a pretty young team so we will see how they do. He has a football game this Saturday so I will post some photos, and then we are going to a Broncos game on Sunday. On top of all that, its Oktoberfest here on Saturday- so we may try to hit Breckenridge at some point…
The weather here as already started to turn to fall. We have had a few dustings of snow up above tree line and the mornings have been chilly in the low 30s. I have a feeling we will see snow before too long- So its time to turn off the sprinkler system, which is good, cause Im getting tired of mowing. I need to take down my hanging baskets because the frost has gotten most of them. No leaves turning yet, but any day now!
Thought I would post that Noah’s team won their football game last night 12 -6. I didnt take any photos cause it was too dark but I will take some at his next game on Sept 13th! He had a couple of good tackles, and did ok as 1 of 3 quarterbacks. The team has about 35 kids and in order to keep track and make sure that everyone gets to play the kids all wear colored wrist bands – one on each wrist. The Right wrist is their defensive line color, and the left wrist is their offensive line Color. So they the coaches can just call out “Red Defence” or “Blue Offense” and the kids all look at their wrists to see if they need to go on the field! With 35 kids to to hard to keep track and make sure everyone one has played!
Hockey Tryouts this weekend!
